CUHK Team Won the Champion in the HackUST 2017

Nigel Nicholas (CSE), Royce Santo (MAE), Tamara Yustian and Winnie Hiyadi Liu won the HackUST 2017, a 24-hour coding competition open to all university students/ alumni in the world and is the largest university hackathon in Asia.

Mr. NG Chak Sing Won the Best Paper Award in PDP2015

Mr. NG Chak Sing won the Best Paper Award in the 23rd Euromicro International Conference on Parallel, Distributed and Network-based Processing (PDP2015). The paper entitled “DeFrag: Defragmentation for Efficient Runtime Resource Allocation in NoC-based Many-core Systems”.

Computer Science Students Won the Champion and the “My Favourite Project” Award of the HKIE Joint Institutes Competition 2014

YUNG, Man Lee, Chan Chun Kit, Keung Nga Fong and Chan Chuen Wai won the champion of the HKIE Joint Institutes Competition 2014. The project named “Visually-impaired Positioning System” is a new guiding system to facilitate the visually-impaired to go out in a more safety way and explore a new place independently with a special designed guide stick.
