The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is looking for strong candidates to make significant contributions to teaching in the related areas of computer science, education or science.
Applicants should have (i) a relevant Master's or PhD degree; (ii) strong commitment to excellence in teaching; (iii) strong programming background; (iv) experience in leading student projects; and (v) at least four years of relevant experience in computer science, education, science or related fields.
Duties include but not limited to (a) teaching undergraduate foundation courses in computer science and/or related fields; (b) supervising student projects; (c) serving as an academic advisor to students; and (d) contributing to committee work and other administrative duties as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years commencing from August 2026, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is looking for strong candidates for a full-time position of Teaching Assistant in the related areas of computer science, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data analytics.
Applicants should have (i) a good honours degree in a relevant discipline; (ii) basic knowledge in Excel and Python/R programming; (iii) a good command of written and spoken English & Chinese; (iv) good presentation skills; (v) interest in teaching undergraduate students and assist with student matters; (vi) a meticulous attitude, a strong sense of responsibility with good interpersonal and management skills; and (vii) willingness to work under pressure.
The appointee will assist in the teaching of our Digital Literacy and Computational Thinking course that we offer to all CUHK students. Job duties include: (a) supervision of computer lab sessions, (b) student tutoring, (c) preparation of course materials, (d) grading, student consultation or supervision, and (e) other duties as assigned.
