Prof. Lyu and His Team Won the First IEEE Open Software Services Award

Prof. Michael and his team members (Pinjia He, Jieming Zhu, Shilin He, Zhuangbin Chen, Jinyang Liu, Yintong Huo, Yuxin Su, Zibin Zheng) won the First IEEE Open Software Services Awards with “LogPAI: An Open-Source Project for Automated Log Analysis“.

The First IEEE Open Software Services Awards aim to support, inspire, retain, and encourage the importance of “Open-Source Software Services Ecosystems” for services computing R&D and long-lasting impact-making efforts. All are welcome to submit applications to the Award via EasyChair in terms of factual impact-making contributions to “open-source software”, “open data”, and/or “open-source software based API services”.

LogPAI (Log Analytics Powered by AI) is an open-source framework for automated log analysis. LogPAI provides four open-source software services (Logging, log compression, log parsing and log mining) and a collection of log datasets. LogPAI has been starred more than 3,000 times in total on GitHub and it has been downloaded more than 70k times by over 380 well-known academic or industrial organizations. The related publications have been cited more than 1,500 times according to Google Scholar.
