The International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva is the biggest event in the world to be exclusively devoted to inventions. Professor Wong and Dr. Shen received a Silver Award for our research project “Visual Sharing with Colorblind.” The research enables simultaneous sharing of visual content between the normal visual and the colorblind audiences. Through this technology, the color distinguishability of colorblind is significantly enhanced, while the normal visual audiences cannot observe any change in color. It relies on the non-linear fusion nature of left and right views taken place in our brains. The technology can be applied on any existing 3D display without any change of hardware.
