We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Siting Liu has won 1st place in the prestigious ACM Student Research Competition (SRC) held at ICCAD 2024. This remarkable achievement is a testament to Dr. Liu’s outstanding research contributions and academic excellence in the field of VLSI placement and routing optimization.
Dr. Liu’s winning research, titled “Enhancing Efficiency and Quality for Routing Stage” addresses critical challenges in the VLSI design flow, demonstrating innovative solutions with practical applications.
Dr. Liu has an impressive track record of academic achievements. She has authored several papers published in top-tier conferences, including ISPD’24, IJCAI’23, DAC’23, DATE’22, DATE’21, and ASPDAC’21. Notably, she received the Best Paper Award for her work on GPU acceleration for VLSI global routing algorithms (DATE’22) and a Best Paper Award Nomination for her research on high-level synthesis optimization (DATE’21).
As the 1st place winner of the ACM SIGDA Student Research Competition, Dr. Liu will now advance to the ACM-wide Student Research Competition Grand Finals, where she will compete with top student researchers from other ACM Special Interest Groups. SIGDA, a prominent ACM Special Interest Group, is dedicated to advancing the knowledge and skills of electronic design automation professionals and students worldwide.
