-Dr. Connie Yuen is the Open Source Evangelist in Linux Foundation Asia Pacific (LF APAC). She was the Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Applied Data Science at Hong Kong Shue Yan University in Hong Kong, China. She was one of the core members in establishing the First Science Department and developing the First Bachelor of Science programme (BSc-Applied Data Science) in the university. She was the programme director of the BSc-Applied Data Science. Under her leadership, the First two cohort students in BSc-Applied Data Science received a number of awards in competitions and participated in several indoor and outdoor exhibitions. At the same university, she was also the Founding Director of Big Data Laboratory, the Founding Director of Virtual Reality Laboratory and the Founding Director of Social Robotics & Digital Living Laboratory.
