Bus Driven Floorplanning
Bus is a collection of wires running through a set of blocks. Given module information
and bus specifications (the set of modules a bus goes through), the bus driven
floorplanning problem is to obtain a feasible floorplan in which every bus can go through
all its block in a simply geometry. A previous work by Xiang et al. considers
0-bend bus only and we extended it to 1-bend and 2-bend in the work [1]. In the future,
we will consider a larger number of buses (becomes a basic interconnect-driven problem),
solving the problem analytically and extending it to 3-D floorplan design.
