Adding
in pictures
(https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/apse/digital/blackboard/maths-tests)
There is a workaround for
uploading images into Calculated Formula Question types.
If you right click on the whitespace in the text box, you
should see an image option. You can paste the image URL
straight into this, and it will pull it into the test
question. The image will need to be hosted on Blackboard
and there are instructions for that below.
Under the Control Panel,
select Content Collection. Select your course.
Click Upload, then
Upload Files. Upload the image(s) for the test - you can
create a folder to keep them in one place.
Locate your image. Click
on the arrow and select 360 View.
A new window will open.
Copy the Permanent URL.
You can then paste this
into the Image URL box as described above.
Remember:
in Insert/edit link, set "Open link in" to "New
window"
For adding pictures in
answers and feedback: In "Test Question Setting" (located
at top-right corner of the Test Canvas: main menu), click
on the option : "Add images, files, and web
links to individual feedback" and " Add
images, files, and web links to answers."
After you
complete the assignment, you may get 0 mark, it is a dummy result and not the true result
because the correct answers have not been uploaded to the
systems yet. The real result will be published about 2 weeks
after the assignment deadline.
Instructions
Please click on the
“save and submit” button at the end of the page after you have
completed the assignment.
If the
answer is not an integer, give your answer to the nearest 3
decimal places. Note: adding more 0s has no harm, e.g.
15=15.0=15.000, 21.1=21.100 etc.
Please complete the assignment before the deadline. Multiple
attempts are allowed.
Late submission penalty: 10%
marks reduction of this assignment for 1 to 24 hours late.
100% marks reduction of this assignment for more than 24 hours
late.
