Prof. Tsung-Yi Ho and Prof. Qiang Xu’s Teams won two Best Poster Awards in ASP-DAC 2026 SRF

At the 31st Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference (ASP-DAC 2026), held from January 19 to 22 at Hong Kong Disneyland, two research groups in our departments stood out at the ACM SIGDA Student Research Forum (SRF@ASP-DAC 2026). Rongliang Fu (supervised by Prof. Tsung-Yi Ho) and Zhengyuan Shi (supervised by Prof. Qiang Xu) were honored with two out of the three Best Poster Awards.

Rongliang Fu’s research, titled “Design Tools for Adiabatic Superconducting Logic Circuits Toward Energy-Efficient Computing,” focuses on developing innovative design tools to advance energy-efficient computing via adiabatic superconducting logic circuits. Zhengyuan Shi’s work, “Scalable and Multimodal Circuit Representation Learning,” explores scalable and multimodal learning approaches for circuit representation, aiming to enhance the efficiency and versatility of electronic design automation (EDA) processes.

ASP-DAC is a premier international conference in the field of design automation, and this achievement reflects the rigorous research efforts of the two students as well as the strong academic guidance provided by CUHK CSE’s faculty. They would like to express sincere gratitude to the department and their supervisors for the continuous support that made this accomplishment possible.
