PhD graduated student Has Been awarded the Best PhD Dissertation Poster at the CCF Integrated Circuit Design and Automation Conference (CCF DAC) in 2024

Dr. Siting Liu, under the supervision of Prof. Bei Yu, was awarded the Best PhD Dissertation Poster at the CCF Integrated Circuit Design and Automation Conference (CCF DAC) in 2024. Her PhD dissertation, titled “Advanced Techniques for IC Physical Design: Enhancing Quality and Efficiency,” presented a range of innovative methodologies for improving the quality and efficiency of integrated circuit physical design.

During her poster presentation, Dr. Liu showcased several groundbreaking approaches that leverage GPUs and mathematical techniques. These applications included an efficient global routing flow, learning-guided early-stage optimization, and routing region planning powered by mathematical modeling.

The CCF DAC is an annual scientific conference organized by the China Computer Federation (CCF). Its primary objective is to explore key technologies and the application prospects in integrated circuit design, EDA, verification and testing, and process and manufacturing. This conference serves as a platform for researchers and professionals to discuss and address the challenges and opportunities in the current landscape of integrated circuit development.
