Mr. Gengjie Chen Won the First Place Gold Medal at the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Special Interest Group on Design Automation (SIGDA) Student Research Competition

Congratulations that Mr. Gengjie Chen won the First Place Gold Medal at the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Special Interest Group on Design Automation (SIGDA) Student Research Competition. His research competition title is “Seeing Nano Tree in Giga Forest on Chip”. The competition was held at the 2018 IEEE/ACM International Conference on Computer Aided Design (ICCAD) on Nov 5, 2018. Gengjie Chen is currently a 4th year PhD student in our department under the supervision of Prof. Evangeline F.Y. Young. As the 1st place winner of the ACM SIGDA Student Research Competition, he will advance to the ACM-wide Student Research Competition Grand Finals to compete with the 1st place winners from other ACM Special Interest Groups. SIGDA is “committed to advancing the skills and knowledge of electronic design automation professionals and students throughout the world.”
