The 2013 ACM/ICPC World Finals were held in St. Petersburg, Russia on 30 Jun – 4 Jul 2013. CUHK ranked the 14th among the 120 teams around the world.
Our team members: Dawei HUANG (CS year 4), YUEN Chak Fai (QFN Y3), CHAN Pak Hay (CS Y1) coached by Prof. Lau Lap Chi demonstrated their excellent problem-solving skills, great teamwork, and strong work mentality in an extremely competitive environment. They solved 6 out of 10 problems, achieving the same results as teams from world reknowned universities such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University and Peking University.
