Modern oil and gas industry is to a large extent a knowledge- and information-industry, and techniques from computer science and informatics can make significant contributions to productivity and environment protection. We will consider ISO-15926 and other semantic web applications from more sophisticated work processes in oil and gas. Focuses is on integration of offshore and onshore, real-time simulation and optimizing of key work processes, and integrated operation centers of operator and vendors.
