Service discovery and composition are basic research topics of service oriented computing. By adding semantic information to service description, semantic Web services bring new opportunity and challenge to service discovery and composition. In this talk, we will talk about the Web Service Challenge Competition proposed by IEEE Conference on E-Commerce Technology. And we will introduce our discovery algorithm to win the champion of that competition, which aim to increase the efficiency of service discovery and composition. We also talk about the semantic matchmaker to provide ranking list of service discovery.
