ABSTRACT:

Authorization management is an important issue in computer security. Systems in collaborative environment involve many people to perform different tasks at different time according to their duties and job natures. It should be ensured that the secure information be available for authorized users, on the one hand; be confidential and integrated on the other hand. Balancing the competing goals of collaboration and security is a big challenge. This presentation focuses on an important dimension of this problem, access control. It will give an overview and evaluation analyses over the current existing access control models as applied to collaboration. Then discuss some future research directions on this domain and introduce their research work. At last, introduce the academic research in the department of computer science and technology of Shandong University.

BIOGRAPHY:

Prof. SUN Yuqing is an associate professor of School of Computer Science and Technology of Shandong University, the co-director of Institute of Electronic Business and the head of Department of Electronic Commerce, Shandong University. She does research in the areas of computer security, workflow management, business intelligence and e-commerce. She is taking charge of the Momentous Science Development Plan Program of Shandong province and other 3 governmental research projects. She is working as a visiting scholar at Hong Kong University now.
