Terms of Code Releases

We are happy to release our source codes so that peer researchers can reconstruct the experimental results in our papers. Furthermore, we would be very delighted if our implementation would be useful to the community for developing new algorithms/indexes.

Copyrights

All rights of the implementation are reserved by the authors. The source codes are owned by the universities they serve. Permission is granted here without fee for academic, education, and/or personal uses only.

Question Asking

As the amount of our online implementation increases, so does the number of questions we received. As a frustrating fact, most questions are like "please tell me the meaning of this line", or "please give more comments". In the past, we spent a huge amount of time answering. Unable to cope with the surging number of questions, we have decided to stop doing so in the future.

Please be reminded that all the source codes are released as the way they are. We would be thrilled if you could understand the implementation (which is highly possible in our opinion, given the original papers), and adapt it for your own purposes. If you cannot understand it, please kindly write your own codes. Our codes should be regarded as "freewares", for which the authors do not hold any responsibility. Emails soliciting explanation may be ignored.

Finally, we want to thank all the researchers in the community for their understanding, and sincerely hope that you will find our work useful.
