Scope
IEEE Technical Committee on Cyber-Physical Systems Smart Distribution and Utility Task Force aims at promoting interdisciplinary research in the field of smart distribution and utility cyber-physical system. The task force has the potential to break the bottleneck of traditional power system analysis technologies, construct an analysis and control methods based on deep integration of information and energy and provide theoretical support for the operation control of smart grid and the new energy system.
Scope of working:
Collect and align requirements and functionalities of CPS in smart power distribution and utility.
Evaluate the connotation and scope of CPS-related power distribution system.
Explore the applicability and scope of modeling, simulation and analysis technology for distribution and utility system.
Define use cases under various application models of CPS.
Conduct related academic conferences such as smart distribution/utility modeling, simulation and analysis technology.
Set up reward mechanism to encourage and reward the members who get scientific or technological achievements.
