Entry Requirements

Ph.D. Stream
M. Phil Stream
  1. a Master's degree from a recognized university; or
  1. graduate from a recognized university and obtained a Bachelor's degree, normally with honours not lower than Second Class; or
  1. graduated from an honours programme of a recognized university with a Bachelor's degree, normally achieving an average grade of not lower than "B" in undergraduate courses; or
  1. completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to an honours degree.
  1. fulfill the 'English Language Proficiency Requirement' as stipulated by the Graduate School before being considered for admission.

In addition to the general qualifications required for admission to the Gradate School, the Division requires that applicants should:

  1. normally hold an honours degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
  2. submit a 'Study Plan' written in English.
