1. JUPAS (For Applicants with HKALE or equivalent qualifications)
According to the University Regulations, applicants seeking admission to a course of study leading to a Bachelor's degree of the university shall have satisfied the minimum entrance requirements of the university and the programme concerned.
A. Minimum University requirements for JUPAS applicants
Applicants shall- have obtained in one sitting of the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) grade E / Level 2 or above in at least seven subjects including two language subjects (Chinese Language, English Language, French or German); AND
- have obtained in one or more sittings1 of the Hong Kong
Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) grade E or above in:
- Advanced Supplementary Level Chinese Language & Culture2; and
- Advanced Supplementary Level Use of English; and
- at least two Advanced Level subjects, or one Advanced Level and two Advanced Supplementary Level subjects.
1 Results of applicants repeating in HKALE subjects will be downgraded. The scales of downgrading are subject to review by individual Programmes periodically.
2 Subject to fulfilling the following conditions, JUPAS applicants may, at the discretion of the faculty deans concerned, be granted waivers of this requirement.

5. Admission for Sub-degree holders
For those who possess associate degree or higher diploma for admission to the first/second year of the undergraduate programmes.
Entrance Requirements:
Applicants shall be eligible to apply for admission if they
- have successfully completed a course of study leading to the qualification of associate degree / higher diploma, and
- have attained an acceptable level of proficiency in the English and Chinese languages.
