IP Traceback Based Defense against DDoS attacks

The project will devise effective IP traceback marking scheme to locate distributed denial of attack sources, and to devise a versatile packets filtering scheme, which should exploit the attack source location provided by the proposed marking scheme, to filter out the malicious packets and to reduce the collateral damage caused by the attack traffic.
