Dynamic Group Key Management, Peer-to-Peer Computing, Real-time Protocol Support for the RMSS+

This project is a continuation of the RMSS system project in the Advanced Network and System Research group. In particular, the RMSS system can now support on-demand streaming services (e.g., video-on-demand, music-on-demand, lecture-on-demand) as well as various types of multicasting services. The aim of this project is to treat the RMSS as a single and independent node and that it can communicate with other nodes using the peer-to-peer protocol. This way, we can greatly enhance file sharing, information searching as well as multiple sites streaming capabilities. We also consider dynamic reliable data delivery and secure multimedia multicasting via stream encryption and scalable secure encryption key management.
