A Smart Card System with Fingerprint Capability

Authentication is an important issue in commercial transactions on the Internet. In this project, we will integrate fingerprint recognition technology with smart card technology to address the problems raised. The major target is to achieve real time or near real time fingerprint verification using a relatively slow JAVA processor embedded inside the smart card.
