3-D Face Recognition

We develop a method of point-to-plane based 3D face recognition methodology. The overall approaches are to i) align the 3D face data with a generic model and calculate the deformation matrix ii) calculate the average distance between all neighboring points in the 3D face model with corresponding facet in generic model (in some sense of bounding box) iii) use the deformation matrix and distance vectors to calculate the similarity between two different 3D face.
