Course Structure
The period of study and course requirement of students differ based on
their different entrance qualifications. Please refer to the 'Study
Scheme' of the major programmes for details.
The minor programme is optional. It normally requires 18 units of
courses. A student who wishes to take a minor programme should formally
register for her/his minor subject.
To earn the units for the courses studies, at the end of each term a
student is required to sit for course examinations where prescribed and
obtain a passing grade. Degree classification will be based on the Major
Grade Point Average (GPA) of all major courses coded 3000 and above, and
the overall GPA of all courses taken.
