Mr. Albert C.M. Au Yeung and Mr. Ray Kong Lam were awarded
the R.C. Lee Centenary Scholarship
Our two students,
Mr. Albert C.M. Au Yeung and Mr. Ray Kong Lam were awarded
the R.C. Lee Centenary Scholarship this year.
The R.C. Lee Centenary Scholarship
is a very prestigious scholarship which
encourages bright young men and women who are graduates of
a university in Hong Kong to pursue their graduate study outside Hong Kong.
The scholarship provides full tuition, stipend, fees, travel
support, and living allowance for the finalists.
This year, there are three finalists (usually there
are only two finalists) and two of them are from CUHK and the
CS&E Department.
We like to take this opportunity to congratulate
Mr. Albert C.M. Au Yeung and Mr. Ray Kong Lam.
Mr. Albert C.M. Au Yeung will go to University of Southampton, UK,
for his Ph.d study, while Mr. Ray Kong Lam will go to
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), USA for his Ph.d study.
This is indeed a very impressive achievement and
this shows the quality of our students.
To Albert and Ray, we are proud of you and
we wish you the very best in your future intellectual journey.
