Type exactly as shown in the "Action" column. "<ENTER>" and "<ESC>" refer to the keys on the keyboard. That means press the "Enter" and "Esc" keys. When there is no "<ENTER>" and "<ESC>" do not press the keys.
Edit "/tmp/learn_vi". At shell, type "vi /tmp/learn_vi".
At shell, type "cat /tmp/learn_vi", and check the difference of yours with this:
