In this talk, we will introduce some recent progress in face detection, alignment and recognition at Digital Media and Data Reconstruction Lab., Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. Our team has collaborated with Bestimage Group of Tencent Company for more than 6 years, and has achieved results in advanced world levels, in which some indexes break the world records. Intelligent compression of big data is obtained by combining both subjective visual feeling and objective standard. Some applications of face recognition are introduced in social network and internet finance.
