===== Biography =====
**Priyanka** is currently a Ph.D student (Aug. 2010-) at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, under the supervision of [[http://www.cse.cuhk.edu.hk/~king|Prof. Irwin King]]. She received her master's and bachelor's degree from [[http://www.iitb.ac.in|IIT, Bombay, India]] in Computer Science and Engineering in 2005. Prior to joining CUHK, she was working with Yahoo! labs, Bangalore, India as a research engineer.

  * Social Networks: Modeling and Information Diffusion.
  * Machine Learning: Support Vector machines, Active Learning, Semi-Supervised Learning, Boosted decision tree
  * Data mining: Text Classification
  * Randomized Graph Algorithms
