Pilot in Summer 2011

 

 

The Chinese University of Hong Kong is ready to deploy the new 2012 undergraduate curriculum for the 3+3+4 education reform. We have been planning and working ahead such that potential students are now cordially invited to experience some of our future university core courses in 2011, one year in advance! As a pilot run, we are going to offer the course to Senior Secondary 2 and 3 (that is, Secondary 5 and 6) students in this summer.

Time and Place

  • Five 2-hour Lectures: 10:30am - 12:30pm, August 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2011 (Mon)
    • Lecture Place: Science Centre L3 (new!)
  • One 3-hour Tutorial: 10:00am - 1:00pm, August 31 (Wed)
    • Tutorial Place: Lady Shaw Building LT3 (new!)
  • Computing Lab access throughout August
    • Lab Location: SHB924B, 9/F, HSH Engineering Building (new!)
    • On August 22 (Mon), we will use lab SHB122, 1/F instead (new!)

Announcement (new!)

  • If the local Tropical Cyclone (typhoon) Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in effect by 8am on Aug 1 (Mon), the first lesson will be canceled and we shall meet on Aug 8, the next week.
