Introduction

This IT Foundation course is a part of the required Univeristy Core under the new 3+3+4 undergraduate curriculum. The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to information technology so that students can learn to use, appreciate, and handle web applications and digital information. Students will acquire the capability to learn and adopt new technologies in the digital era.

 

Expected Learning Outcomes

  • Gain appreciation on how different information technologies change our lifestyle and impact societal development. (KV)
  • Possess life-long learning ability in information technologies. (KV)
  • Acquire necessary skills in using the Internet and develop the habits and attitudes of a good Netizen. (KSV)
  • Develop a good usage pattern on how to securely handle and manage digital devices and information. (KSV)
